This project, which was already launched before the war by the VITAWORLD and VITAUKR associations with the project ‘Dante's Divine Comedy illustrated by contemporary artists’, is a new page in the cultural dialogue between Italy and Ukraine and aims not only to acquaint Ukrainians with the masterpieces of Italian literature (and later, I hope, Italians with the masterpieces of Ukrainian literature), but also to show how they relate to modernity, being reinterpreted through the prism of today's reality and contemporary art.
