We approached painters, sculptors and designers interested in making a contribution to promoting public awareness of the issue of gender equality and the fight against gender-based violence, and identified the most involved, with whom the international World With Women team was formed. At a time when gender-based violence should be a thing of the past, each new case becomes particularly heartfelt and raises the desire to act to make it the last. The role of contemporary art, as an honest and timely spokesperson, becomes very important. Arguments about the problems of violence, which cannot be explained in words without trivialising the concept, find their proper expression in the use of language and artistic means. The inevitable need for change quickly passes through and penetrates both the mind and the heart of the viewer. If there were no artists committed to spreading a message about the responsibility of each individual for the lives of all of us and for our children, much more time would be needed and much more resources and commitment would be required to convey the urgency of current problems: feminicide, psychological violence, economic violence, family abduction. Never before has liberation from violence depended on our actions. Future generations can take on new awareness and evolve into HOMOANTIVIOLENCE, which will care for all mankind and actively participate in its improvement. OPEN CALL To participate, you are requested by 5 May 2025 at the latest : to send a photo of the work (or a link to the Google Drive file of several works) indicating: artist's first and last name, measurements of the work, technique and the year it was created. once the confirmation of participation has been received, after selection by the curator, you will receive information regarding delivery and collection of the work before and after the exhibition. enclosed is the resolution for the publication of photos and videos and the application form with the organisers' liability release.
